SAG-105

The SAG-105 wind speed sensor series is specially designed to meet the requirements set by the ITC “MIE-AEM-2” regulation for lifting and handling equipment, particularly tower cranes for construction or other applications. Its streamlined shape allows airflow around it without causing turbulence. The magnetic sensor ensures that the wind speed signal reaches the interior of the equipment without compromising its hermetic seal. With pre-wired supply and magnetic fixing, we guarantee easy and fast installation for our customers.

In our catalog, you’ll find several versions of the SAG anemometer: SAG105-EC, SAG105-E RF NPN, and SAG105-H.

SAG105-E RF NPN

SAG105-EC

SAG105-H

Wind speed sensor with audible and visual alarm specially designed to meet the requirements of UNE-EN 14960:2014 for inflatable play equipment, focusing on safety and testing.

Operations:

The anemometer operates according to the guidelines set by the ITC “MIE-AEM-2”, triggering an intermittent pre-alarm at 50 km/h and a continuous alarm at 70 km/h. This equipment incorporates the possibility of reducing alarm trigger values for increased safety.

The intermittent pre-alarm activates the amber light beacon intermittently along with the siren and only when the wind speed is between the selected values (typically 50 and 70 km/h). The continuous alarm activates the red-light beacon continuously along with the siren when the wind speed exceeds the selected value (typically 70 km/h). The alarm interlocking can be configured so that the continuous alarm is only deactivated when power to the equipment is disconnected.

Power Supply:

• The equipment is supplied pre-wired with 3×1.5 1000 Volt hose according to Low Voltage Regulation.
• Voltage supply range: from 48 to 400 Vac.

Technical Characteristics:

Fixings

• Steel brackets for fixing to irregular elements up to 63×45 mm.
• Magnetic fixing on flat ferromagnetic surfaces. This fixing can support up to 90 kg.

Other Options

• Wind tunnel calibration certificate: Supply of an individualized certificate for each equipment.
• Pulse output: The equipment can be supplied with pulse output for connection to a display or controller (see our WM44 series displays).
• Integration with remote control: For displaying wind speed on the remote control.
• Relay output: To activate other mechanisms or alarm signals. It is not recommended to automatically interrupt crane power supply when the alarm is activated to avoid risks of overloading crane elements.
